Berkshire is a hotspot for skin cancer

Alarmingly, despite more knowledge and education, melanoma rates in the UK have more than doubled since the nineties. Moreover, the combined incidence of non-melanoma skin cancer (basal and squamous cell carcinoma) is higher than all other types of cancer put together. Some of the highest rates of skin cancer are found in the southeast of England, with Berkshire being a particular hotspot.
